Care Homes must have a separate rest room for the use of employees. Rest rooms must be large enough and have sufficient chairs and tables for the number of employees likely to use them at any one time.
Where meals are regularly eaten in the workplace, there should be a place for staff to eat.
Suitable facilties must be provided for pregnant workers or nursing mothers to rest. This could be a couch in a first-aid room or a bed in an unoccupied room.
