Our History
CHIS has been established since the late 90’s and have supported 100’s of care homes and domiciliary carers since day one. CHIS’ early history has humble and homely routes, with managing director David Waters manning the business single handled from the his own garden in Seaford, East Sussex. As CHIS’ already admirable reputation for providing clients with service that was both highly professional and specialised, but at the same time personal and understanding to their specific needs grew, so too did the number of care providers they insured. CHIS now insure over 2,250 care providers and have two offices, both in Brighton.
CHIS are now regarded as the front runners in care home insurance, not just by our clients, but by regulatory bodies such as the NCA. For more information about our services and History, please visit the CHIS website.
PrimeCare Insurance
As the number of domiciliary care providers that CHIS act for increased, and due to the often very specific needs of these type of care providers, it was decided that the best way to handle them was by setting by a sister company, to deal exclusively with the domiciliary care sector. Thus, PrimeCare Insurance was born in January, 2008 and now supports over 500 domiciliary care providers.
